    Description

    PART OF A 45 YEAR COLLECTION  ANTIQUE AND VINTAGE  CLOTHING AND FASHION RELATED ITEMS !!!
    Vintage 1930's era "Envelope"chemise,probably part of a Bridal Trousseau, well stored and appears never worn.Has no label, a quality piece.
    A nice larger size, has a ribbon laced thru the lace bodice neck, (inner garment) to gather for fit adjustment, wide satin ribbon straps,delicate lace trimmed bodice with appliques, the fabric is a medium weight silk satin,ribbon tie at the waist, with narrow lace trim at hem and side slits. (My camera is not capturing true tone,is a light creamy ivory.)
    Note the crotch, it is sewn in but easily removed. There is one flaw to the fabric, center front,approx. 1/2" long,looks like a weave imperfection, when belted, falls into the gathers.
    ACTUAL MEASUREMENTS: Bust 40"/Waist 40"/Hip 42" with 8" side Vents, Length from bodice top edge to hem 24",Crotch 2" wide,7 1/2" long.
