Description

The TG-3-S is a 500 watt rated base station antenna that can also be applied to marine vessels.
Fully assembled the TG-3-S stands 96” tall and has a gain of 6.6 dBi , 4.5 dBd (2.82X over a dipole).
The antenna can be tuned to any desired frequency between 144 – 160 MHz.
This antenna is suitable for both land and sea application and is hermetically sealed in a hardened aluminum canister to ensure life longevity.
Phased array includes a single phasing coil to place two radiating elements in phase for an increase in effective radiated power.
All TG Series antennas come with a threaded base for mounting on 1-1/4" diameter threaded pipes.
Hand-wound loading coil is factory tuned and tested to ensure peak performance at a specified frequency
Coil is hermetically sealed to prevent moisture damage
No ground plane required
